Pharmaceutical industry

From blood transfusion to X-ray. From tablets and powders to the pill. From aspirin, insulin and sterile bandages to plasters, but also less obvious products such as sweeteners for coffee or tea. Production facilities. Laboratories. Development of new medicine. Meticulous work with calibrated equipment. Absolutely level flooring in regard to finely tuned equipment. Surface density, no pores at all. Antistatic.

Expert knowledge of flooring materials and their application brings Bolidt into contact with:

Johnson & Johnson
Astra Zeneca
Glaxo Smith Kline
Akzo Pharma
Proctor and Gamble

Bolidtop is the name for this synthetic floor system that extends from X-rays and blood transfusions to distribution. In this sector floors and walls have to conform to the most stringent requirements. Research, development of new medicines: precision work with calibrated instruments. Level floors in connection with the finely tuned instruments. Conductive floors to combat the effect of static electricity, for areas with high-tech interference sensitive equipment where computer operators carry out precision work.

Bolidtop floors for the clean areas with a closed- pore surface. Synthetic floor systems that are resistant to the action of (bio) chemical substances. Seamless floors that are impermeable. Ready-made solutions for the transitions to joints, skirting, drains and gutters, vulnerable places to bacteria. Hygiene always comes first, also for the walls. To this end Bolidt has developed the Bolicoat systems. Seamless, resilient wall finishes with which the area becomes, as it were, a watertight ‘cocoon’; the transition from floor finish to wall is seamless. Besides being practical floors, which are quick and easy to clean, they are durable solutions as well. Also when the activities on the floor are highly demanding transport in the frequent and intensive manner in which it occurs in the pharmaceutical wholesale trade.

For every question, a specific floor solution.

Bolidt has a worldwide experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Succesfully we are working for:

Proctor & Gamble

Many different flooring systems apply to the pharmaceutical industry; from coatings with a thickness of 100 µ up to synthetic systems of 10 mm. Prices depend greatly on the size of the surface and the choice of flooring system.

For a 1,000 m² prices range between € 15 per m² for a thin functional coating and € 110 per m² for an exceptionally high quality, state-of-the-art flooring system.

To give you a more specific insight into our price structure, we invite you for a consultation to determine the most appropriate flooring for your space.
